Dr. Deng is currently an associate professor and Ph.D. supervisor at Tsinghua University Shenzhen Graduate School. He earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry from The University of Hong Kong in 2015 under the supervision of Academician Y.W. Ren. He worked in the Institute of Molecular Functional Materials at The University of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong University-TCL Joint Laboratory for OLED Materials and Technologies as a Research Officer. His primary research includes molecular design and synthesis of gold-organic complexes, structural regulation of their luminescent properties, and their application in OLEDs. His main research directions are energy storage, organic/inorganic optoelectronic materials, and devices. Dr. Deng has published over 30 high-quality papers in renowned journals such as Nature Photonics, J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., and Chem. Rev., with over 1,300 citations.
